Far Cry 4 Plot
The setting of the game is the Himalayas, the fictitious Kyrat region. After a civil war, two factions are formed: the Royal Army, commanded by Pagan Min and a group of rebels called Golden Path. You are Ajay Ghale. He is a young Kyrati-American man who went to Kyrat to spread the ashes of his deceased mother in the mountains. When he arrives, you learn from Sabal, who is the leader of Golden Path, that your father Mohan was the founder and the first leader of the rebellion. He was murdered in his own home and, before he died, he entrusted the command to his best friend Sabal. Your goal as a player is to defeat Pagan Min, who declared himself a local king.
The Gameplay
In the game, we will be able to explore the open world to your heart’s content. Kyrat has a lot to offer – from mountain trails to forest areas. The crafting system will allow you to hunt animals and for example, produce a better holster or wallet from the obtained resources. You do not have to walk all the time, because at your disposal you will find, among others: cars, tuk-tuks, gyroplanes, wingsuits, and even an elephant.
The Weaponry
In the game, to effectively fight your enemies or animals you will be able can use grenades, Molotov cocktails, mines, C4 explosives, and numerous firearms from simple pistols to heavy rifles. On top of this, you will have access to knives, daggers, bows, and crossbows. You’ll receive even better items as you progress through the game. The best sniper rifle is able to pierce even walls. You can also buy upgrades to your weapons, which will improve their accuracy, range, rate of fire, mobility, and damage.
The Campaign
During the game, you have a dozen or so story missions, as well as various side quests and optional tasks, which include, among others: time trial with a shipment, hunting for wild animals or attacking armed outposts. Additionally, there is a karma system that will allow you to call for support during fights or get a discount in the store. You will collect the necessary points by helping fighters of Golden Path or worshipping local deities.
Far Cry 4 Multiplayer
The game offers also a multiplayer mode in different variants. An interesting solution is the co-op option, in which you can turn to another player to get help, Then your new friend may accompany you during side missions or during the exploration of the world.
