For many, it is an iconic football game simulator. in PES 2018, the player can take control of various teams and participate in competitions all over the world. The Japanese studio Konami is also known for such hits as Silent Hill, Castlevania, Metal Gear, and Dance Dance Revolution. Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 was released on September 12, 2017, and is available on Windows PCs, Sony PlayStation 3 and 4 consoles, Microsoft Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

How to Download Pro Evolution Soccer 2018

You can download the game from the Steam platform. The full version of the game is paid, while the completely free demo of PES 2018 can be downloaded also from Steam.

Unlike its predecessors, the 2018 PC version of the game does not differ in any way from its console counterparts. The game does not include any plot (contrary to its major counterpart FIFA), but it still gives the player the opportunity to play as the footballers on the pitch or as the club manager who manages his entire team. In the game, the devs have tried been faithfully depict the atmosphere of the most famous football leagues such as the English Premier League and the German Bundesliga. Also, they copied in much detail the appearance of the football stadiums of the world’s biggest clubs such as Barcelona, Real, and Bayern. The combination of these elements and the faithful representation of the players makes you really feel like a part of football events.

Pro Evolution Soccer series Numbering
The first game of the series (released in 2001 for the PlayStation 2 and a year later for PlayStation) was obviously called Pro Evolution Soccer. The successor was called Pro Evolution Soccer 2. This numbering continued until the sixth version. After that, since the 2008 edition (released in Japan a year earlier) the games in this series have added the year to their title. Note that this is always the year after the one in which the game is released. The premiere takes place regularly in autumn, as in the case of the competitive FIFA series.

PES 2018 Mechanics and Graphics

On the mechanics side of things, many of the shortcomings of the previous sections of Pro Evolution Soccer have been eliminated. Now we have improved action dynamics, facial expressions and animation, streamlined ball control (called Touch +),  and many other minor additions to the game. PES 2018 is definitely more about tactics and precision of movement. Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 has also added several new modes. In addition to the classic ones in which you train your team for the whole season, now we have a co-op network mode, which allows you to join teams consisting of two or three players. The Master League mode has also changed. Now you can compete in pre-season tournaments and you’re allowed to make more transfer moves.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 graphically stands out from its predecessors. The Japanese studio put a lot of stress on realism and applied the technique of Real Capture, which demonstrates realistic animations of players movements. The models themselves are faithful to the appearance of the real players. In the case of teams that decided to cooperate with Konami, we even the tattoos of individual players added to the game. Also, the national and club kits look just like the ones worn in the 2017/2018 season. On top, we have the true to life stadiums, a more realistic pitch and the illumination of the pitch both during the day and during the games played after dark.

The Competition

The rival simulator to Konami’s PES has always been the FIFA series from EA Sports. For Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 this year’s rival is also available for download – it’s FIFA 18.
