Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is a downloadable game that is the sequel to the multiplayer shooter TPP from 2014. The entire production is part of the Plants & Zombies universe which has been created by PopCap studio, known as one of the best casual gaming companies. PopCap has also created titles like Bejeweled, Peggle, Bookworm, and Zuma.

The Storyline
The game tells the story of the eternal struggle between the plants and funny zombies. This time the undead have managed to completely subdue Suburbia – the town that after this attack became Zomburbia. The task of the player is to bring order to the town.
The Game Mechanics
The game fully flourishes in the multiplayer mode but the players can also play solo where the player fights the AI-controlled opponents. Still, it’s the multiplayer clashes that are the most fun.
The Game Modes in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 can be played in the modes that are already known from the first part of the production. It also offers many new and quite interesting forms of activity. For example, Herbal Assault mode, which is designed for 24 people who play as the plants or Graveyard Ops – a co-op mode created for 4 undead, who defend against the attacks of the opponents. The gameplay takes place on many different maps – 12 of them in total. There are even locations set in outer space. The characters that the devs have created are varied and numerous – in fact, there are over one hundred of them. Some of the characters are known from the original Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare and include, among others:
- Foot Soldier,
- Cactus,
- The Scientist,
- Engineer,
- All-Star,
- Sunflower
- Peashooter
- and Chomper.
And there are quite a few new characters, including:
- Super Brainz,
- Rose,
- Captain Deadbeard,
- Citron
- or Super Brainz.
In addition, the players who have played the first game can transfer most of their heroes to the sequel. Each of the fighters has different specialties and talents as well as different weapons.
The Technical issues in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
The production has cartoonish graphics which are powered by the Frostbite 3 engine, known from such games as FIFA, Need for Speed Payback, and Star Wars Battlefront II.
