Radical Heights is a free downloadable Battle Royle game played from a third-person perspective. The player’s main task is of course to defeat all the other participants. The quality of the productions makes you really want to live in its virtual world. The game offers great graphics and an unforgettable atmosphere of the 80s with elements such as heavy metal t-shirts and arcade machines. The title has been developed and published by Boss Key Productions. The studio is also known for the FPS LawBreakers. Radical Heights was released in April 2018 in the early access system, or, as the developers call it X-TREME early access, which means that the game is very much underdeveloped. Nevertheless, it is quite popular.

The Game Review
The game does not have an intricate plot or an extensive epic story. The emphasis is on fast gameplay and good fun, which is what the fans of battle royale love the most. The world in which you enjoy the shooting is open and large. It provides freedom in the selection of tactics and a lot of solutions. Often you will also have to improvise, and sudden bumping into cars or searching the rooms will diversify the gameplay.
Unlike in other classic battle royals, such as Fortnite or PUBG, in Radical Heights the players do not get upgrades directly. Instead, you will find cash lying literally on the streets and items that you can exchange for money. The entire game model is based on earning (or rather finding) cash and developing your character by making purchases. Yes, buying weapons and improving your equipment is the main task not counting, of course, the extermination of the competitors.
In the game, you can ride a bike, run on the roofs, shoot, destroy elements of the world and use ATMs, where we can deposit your cash to use it later. When? Between the games to purchase gadgets that will make your character look even cooler next time, or to have the money in a new game up front thus achieving a better start. This means that you don’t have to be frustrated by premature killing in the game, as long as you can deposit some of the cash that you’ve found. Such an action can be a tactic, according to which you will have more cash to arms yourself in future games.
There are many types of weapons to choose from. From pistols through rifles to rocket launchers. And they are great fun to use.
The in-game soundtrack provides a unique atmosphere of the 80’s. The attention to details such as graphics on T-shirts or the models of weapons shows the professionalism of the developers.
The graphics are impressive. Considering the high hardware requirements (see below), even the most demanding players will be satisfied with the characters, the textures and the lavish colors. The physics of the game are also great. Natural reactions to events on the map or real weapon behavior significantly increases the gamers’ satisfaction.
The game supports English, German or French, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Italian, although only in English you will experience full audio and subtitles.
Radical Heights – the Hardware Requirements
The minimum hardware requirements to be met are an Intel Core i5-2500K or FX-6300 processor, Nvidia GTX 660 graphics card or AMD Radeon 7870 graphics card and 8 GB RAM.
The recommended hardware requirements are quite high. To meet them, you need to have an Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD RX 580 processor, 16 GB of RAM and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card or AMD Ryzen 5 1600. If you have such set-up you can run the game in 1080p with 60 fps.
Due to the game being still in development (which is an understatement), the game does not collect many positive reviews from the players (over time, we hope, the creators will fix the bugs, create more content and this should change). Because Radical Heights is offered for free, it nevertheless has a lot of fans and a large user base. The game has definitely a potential to become a hit.
