This is the story of the Kung Fu Panda! One of the best things about being a parent is getting to check out all kinds of kids movies under the disguise that you are doing it for your kid. Kung Fu Panda 3 though is different in that this is a movie that is just as much fun for the adults as it is the kids

The Film Review
The Kung Fu Panda series has gone from strength to strength. With two awesome movies, a great animated series, video games and of course the third movie, Kung Fu Panda 3 which we are talking about today. This is actually one of the premier franchises that the people at DreamWorks have.
The story of Kung Fu Panda 3 is once again set around the loveable Po. Po becomes the teacher where he lives and he is the one to lead the Furious Five after Master Shifu decides it is time for him to retire. It does not go well and Po for all his good intentions has a hard time becoming the master/teacher that he envisioned himself to be.
Master Shifu gives Po some advice that he needs to find out who he is before he can teach others and this leads Po to go back to the Panda village and reunite with his father. This is actually quite sweet and Po, while he looks like the rest of them, is a bit of a fish out of the water and it is very well done.
The villain of the movie is Kai (who is excellently voiced by J.K Simmons) and he wants to take all of the chi from the Kung Fu masters. Little did he know that Po would lead an army of Pandas against the forces of Kai to stop him getting all of the chi from the Kung Fu masters.
As a movie, Kung Fu Panda 3 has it all. It is full of action and great fighting sequences, but it also has a lot of humor and heart. It is impossible not to be caught up by Po and his antics. While he has certainly grown since we saw him in the first movie, Po is still the same loveable guy that he has always been.
You would think that for a third movie and not to mention it is also following on from a TV series that the franchise would have run out of steam, but that is not the case at all. Kung Fu Panda 3 very well could serve as the end of the series. Yet at the same time, DreamWorks could carry it on if they wanted.
A huge reason why this franchise is so great is because of the voice cast. Jack Black as Po is just awesome, but this movie has one of the most amazing voice casts of any animated movie. Dustin Hoffman, Seth Rogan, Angelina Jolie, Lucy Lui, Jackie Chan, David Cross, Kate Hudson, and Jackie Chan are all part of the cast! Can you think of another animated movie with a voice cast like that?
Kung Fu Panda 3 for me is the best entry in the series. It is fun, it has a lot of action and there is a bit of drama in here too! It is one of those animated movies that the kids can have a lot of fun with, but so can mom and dad.
