The Song Review

Can’t Remember to Forget You – the Meaning of the Lyrics

If we talk about the song’s lyrics, the song is a complete uptempo track that is fussing with a mix of rock, reggae, and wave pop. The song revolves around the concept of love that is bad for you, but you don’t want to leave that person because you love them the most.

Soon after the song’s release, it received the missed reviews from the critics because of the video, which we will share later on. For some of the critics, the song was not at all memorable. And it was being said that the song’s lyrics were very much similar to the music of Bruno Mars’s The Police.

The Video Interpretation of Shakira – Can’t Remember to Forget You

The video is based on sexual displays, which was the main criticism. Shakira has never been that bold in her songs, which was a big surprise for the fans. There are also some nasty intimate scenes of Rihanna and Shakira in the video. Fans expected a bit of clean and decent video representation from both the singers.
