System of a Down is a well-known heavy metal band system from Armenian-American. The group is also nicknamed Simply System or SoaD. Back in 1994, the trip was formed in California. The band is based on Serj Tankian, the lead vocalist, Daron Malakian – the guitarist, John Dolmayan – the drummer, and Shavo Odadjian – the bass expert.
This trio band got commercial success by releasing their five studio albums. Out of 5, 3 albums were part of the number one spot on the US Billboard 200. One of their best songs, “BYOB,” was honored with the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance in 2006.
In 2006, the band broke a separation gap, and in 2010, they reunited again. To date today, the band has successfully sold more than 40 million records all over the world.
