The Game Review
In the multiplayer version, there are several modes available to play which include Conquest, Domination, Rush, Operations, Team Deathmatch, War Pigeons, Frontlines, Supply Drop, and Air Assault. In each of these modes, players either go in as individuals or in the form of teams where they compete with each other and try to complete the objectives by eliminating their opponents. The multiplayer version allows you to choose the weapons of your choice from a wide range of pistols, shotguns, rifles, SMG’s, snipers and even rocket launchers.
The individuals or teams who win get to unlock more experience and different rewards such as rare costumes or skins. The main goal of the online version varies from mode to mode. From dominating and capturing the enemy’s flag, to getting the highest kill count as a team or as individuals, Battlefield 1 provides a vast exposure in terms of online gaming experience.
Moving on to the single-player mode, Battlefield 1 follows the storyline of World War 1 through six different characters over six different World War 1 stories. Each story is set up in a different country which includes France, Italy, and the UK. The players take part in different missions which involve numerous tasks such as taking down the enemies using guns and vehicles, capturing enemy locations by coming up with the appropriate strategy and defending themselves from numerous enemy assaults. In addition to that, some missions also require the players to take part in one on one air combats in which they are in charge of handling all the systems of a plane as they must protect themselves and shoot down the enemies. The players have to complete all the missions fully to further proceed in the storyline until they reach the end.
Battlefield 1 follows the same pattern as Call of Duty: WWII in terms of weaponry and the storyline. Both the video games have the same quality of graphics overall along with the same type of weaponry. However, Battlefield 1 provides more features to its users in the multiplayer version such as the ability to handle and control not just ground vehicles but also take part in intense air battles in the Air Assault mode.
Considering how the campaign version of Battlefield 1 follows six different war stories, it provides the players with a greater opportunity to join different allied forces hence, making them go through a wider narrative and experience of gameplay.
