Pogostuck: Rage With Your Friends is a game that is frustrating as hell, but I cannot stop playing it! They have managed to make a game that is fun, but so very frustrating as well and that shows how good the devs behind the game are. The idea is very simple, you are a little dude with a pogo stick and you need to make it as far as you can.
It is very reminiscent of games like Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy or less popular Golfing Over It with Alva Majo, but I feel that Pogostuck: Rage With Your Friends has a lot more charm and personality than that game did. What I think makes this stand out is the fact that you never get a second to breathe. You always have to keep moving, the moment you stop to pat yourself on the back for reaching 14% 24% or heck even %50, you will fall and have to start again.
This is so frustrating when it happens, but at the same time, you always feel that it was because of something you did. You also feel that if you just pay a little bit more attention or try a little bit harder that you will make it next time. As is evident by how much this has blown up on Twitch.
