Ultimate Chicken Horse is a downloadable, hilarious platform game, created with the multiplayer mode in mind. Several players take part in mad races, which they first need to design and then test. On an empty location, the players can set various traps, obstacles, and platforms which they will have to overcome. The most fantastic thing about the game is the fact that the obstacles should be set in such a way that they facilitate completing the location for their owners and simultaneously they make life really difficult for the rivals. The game has been created by an independent studio Clever Endeavor Games. This is the first commercial production of this development team. The title premiered on March 4, 2016, and is available on PCs with Windows systems and consoles: Nintendo Switch, Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One.

The Goal of the Game
Ultimate Chicken Horse doesn’t have a plot as such, the goal of the game is to defeat your opponents. The rules of the game are simple. The race is won by the one who first crosses the finish line. Game developers designed just a few almost empty levels. The design of the starting levels is not what makes this games different and better than other productions of this type. What distinguishes Ultimate Chicken Horse is the multitude of objects that players can put on the map, thus effectively designing their own game. Before starting to play Ultimate Chicken Horse, you can build your game level with such items as:
- hay bales,
- L girders,
- moving platforms,
- magnet platforms,
- fan platforms,
- and many others.
The Game Mechanics of Ultimate Chicken Horse
The gameplay mechanics are very simple. The game controls are not difficult to master. The key to winning, in this case, is not analytical and strategic thinking. Each duel or race consists of several successive runs. During each subsequent game, the players add elements to the map, thus creating increasingly crazy and complicated racing tracks. The characters in the game, and there are several of them (these are animals: the Squirrel, the Racoon, the Horse, The Chicken, the Bunny, the Sheep, the Chameleon, and the Elephant), can only jump and bounce off the walls. None of the characters has any unique abilities, so they differ from each other only by their external appearance.
There is a scoring system in the game, and you can get points for practically everything. Only one condition must be met. During the round, one of the characters must die. Then the bonuses are calculated, among others, for getting to the finish line, putting a trap that someone will fall into or for the classic collection of coins.
The Graphics and the Music in UCH
The visual design of the game is just what we can expect from an indie title. The graphics are quite simple but at the same time, they are very pleasing to the eye and fun to look at. The animals are presented in a caricatural way, they move unsteadily on their tiny legs and give the impression of being very unstable. The game has an entertaining music score, which corresponds to the pace of the game.
