Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is a downloadable game released on March 8, 2018, which is a sequel to the highly acclaimed action game Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide. An unfavorable critic could say that the game is a butcher’s party because in essence all the time you kill hordes of the enemies and then again but more. The setting of Vermintide 2 is The End Time Times, the great apocalypse of the Warhammer World. The five veteran heroes from the first game will face even more terrifying threat this time – the combined forces of the hostile and destructive Chaos army and the hordes of the terrible Skaven rodents.

Fatshark, the creator of Vermintide 2, as a subcontractor in the past, created various more or less successful titles, and over time became an independent publishing house. In 2010, they released the first game Lead and Gold, a shooter with an action in the Wild West, which was published by Paradox Interactive. In time, Fatshark obtained money from the sale of 3D game engine BitSquid to Autodesk and with these resources in 2015 the studio created their first really successful game – Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide. The Fatshark team consists of over 60 experienced and qualified programmers who, at the same time, regularly update Vermintide and are always looking for new exciting projects. If you want to meet them, visit Stockholm. By the way, Autodesk was not successful with BitSquid, which they renamed to Stingray. In December 2017 they made a decision to exit the game market as the provider of a proprietary engine and focus on cooperation with Unity and Unreal Engine, the two most popular game engines.
