Wolfenstein: Youngblood is the third game since Wolfenstein was rebooted a few years back. So far, I have loved what Bethesda has done with the series so I was very excited to check this one out. It is worth noting that this is being released as more of a “side game” than it is a full sequel to Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus even though it is set in the same universe.
How to Download Wolfenstein: Youngblood
The game can be downloaded from Steam. If you like the series, be sure to also check out our review of Wolfenstein: The New Order.
The Game Review
The story of the game for me is actually the strongest thing about it. The game is set 20 years after what went down in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. I need to be very careful about what I say as I do not want to spoil things for you guys. The basic gist though revolves once again around, B.J. Blazkowicz.
Not as a playable character though, but as him being missing. You see, Wolfenstein: Youngblood has you playing as his twin daughters, Jessica and Sophia. Jessica and Sophia set out on a quest to find out what happened about to their dad and the do this by stealing a chopper and a couple of badass super-powered armor suits!
The gameplay is just as much fun as it was in the last two Wolfenstein games. They went for a more “open” kind of gameplay with this one in that you can kind of do things the way you want. I liked this and think it could be something that plays heavily into the next game in the series.
