The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (2006) is one of the best downloadable RPG titles in years. The coolest thing about this game is that it puts you into the shoes of a convict, and from there you need to push your destiny to the next level and eventually become the hero you are meant to be. There are lots of cool ideas and Easter Eggs here, but at the same time, you also have a huge map to explore and use at your own pace.

  • Fighter’s Stronghold Expansion,
  • Horse Armor Pack,

The Game Review

Even if you don’t care about the main story, the game is full of great content for you to explore and enjoy. With so many unique locations and side quests, you can easily shift away from the main story and just focus on what you really want. If you have the main game and the DLCs you have even more new locations and skills. That being said, you also have mods.

The modding skin for the game is very good, in fact, you can find overhaul mods that really push the boundaries and make the game a lot more interesting and distinct in its own right. Traveling between provinces is very easy here, and we like the attention to detail that was put into this. That certainly gives you some rewarding experiences for you to enjoy and explore.

When you play The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, you are in control of what you want to do and the places that you want to explore. There aren’t any real limits because you are in control and you can feel free to do everything you want in any possible means.

The NPCs are quite good here, and the AI, in general, is pretty impressive. You will definitely find situations when the AI gets stuck so that on its own can be an issue. But for the most part, you will be quite happy with the experience and you will have fun with it. Yes, it takes a while to get used to it, but the outcome can shine.

There are so many classes in the game that it’s easy to get overwhelmed. And if you add into account the loot and other cool stuff, you will have an amazing time here. They even have horse armor, not to mention a plethora of armor options for yourself, so you do need to check that out and give it a shot at the very least.
