Age of Empires III: Complete Collection is the type of game that everyone loves because it makes it easy to learn more about our history. More specifically, it allows us to explore the early days of the United States, all while bringing in front nifty game ideas and unique opportunities.
The great thing in this game is that you also have the Warchiefs and Asian Dynasties expansions, so you do get to access all possible factions as you play and that is always a fun thing to focus on.

The Game Review
In addition, the visuals are stunning. The game does a very good job at recreating many of the architectural styles and the locations from that era. It also delivers the same old Age of Empires gameplay experience that you know and love.
Gathering resources is at the core of it all, but you can also use the diplomatic approach and trade. Plus, you can connect with the factions at home and acquire a variety of items at your disposal. All of that makes the game very good and interesting at the same time.
There are also wonders placed on the map and special resources. Those can actually offer you a great advantage as you play, and you should totally give them a shot if you can. You do have the Teams options which makes it easy to connect with European powers and many others that will give you amazing benefits.
You are creating a colony, and the more you expand your reach, the better it will be as a whole. It will be a tricky road for sure, but one that you do need to test out.
As for the game story, you do have to establish a colony and eliminate various enemy forces. It’s something simple, but well done and that will motivate you as you play all the time. That being said, you have a high level of variation when it comes to teams and the best part is that you can easily get bonuses on the map and establish new strategies.
The map size is ok, some are small, others are large, and you do have some great opportunities and cards to pick from. The civilizations are different from one another, so you will always have something new and cool for you to experience and find all the time.
However, leveling civilizations can end up being a bit dull, and you will have some balancing issues here and there. But that doesn’t detract from the fun that you have as you try to eliminate all enemies and just explore all the possible benefits as you play. It’s definitely unique and different, so check it out if you want Age of Empires with a new spin when compared to the second game in the series. Yes, it tries something new, but it does work really well.
