Mushroom Wars 2 Review
Mushroom Wars 2 tells a story of the universe in which the battle is fought between the four factions of tiny creatures living in mushroom-shaped homes. The player acts as the general of the army of one of the sides of the conflict. The overall mechanics remain unchanged in comparison to the first edition of the game. So you have maps on which the duels are taking place, and to win, you need to take control of the most important areas. The changes have been introduced to the races available in the game. Each of them is supported by powerful heroes with unique abilities. MadDownload.com gives Mushroom Wars 2 in its review of 8.5 out of 10.
The Game Mechanics and the Game Modes
The game is a representative of RTS genre, so you can expect the traditional expansion of the base and then the successive formation of the army. However, these mechanics do not constitute the core of the game. The creators of Mushroom Wars 2 focused on quick gameplay, so the games last a maximum of 10 to 15 minutes.
The game mechanics, despite their classic roots, have been extensively modernized. The game offers a series of game modes, where in addition to the single-player campaign, in which you face three opponents controlled by a computer, you can also take part in online confrontations. It is the online mode and the PVP battles that are the most important aspect of Mushroom Wars 2. In addition to the standard mode, where each of the four players play against each other, the developers have also implemented the cooperation mode in which you clash in two-person teams. The game includes a ranking system which assigns players to leagues that match their skills.
The Graphic Design
The graphics in the game look hilarious, as was the case with the first edition of the series. The world is presented in an isometric view, which means that you look on the battlefield from above. The graphics have been significantly changed in relation to the first part and are now much better on computers as well as on phones or tablets.
