Our verdict
- Memorable characters and side stories reinforce an already strong plot
- Scares feel earned and true; although there are jump scares, they rarely feel cheap
- Countless noteworthy scenes that cleverly use fun and inventive camera techniques
- Some characters feel underdeveloped
- For true horror junkies, the film may lack impacting scares
- Although necessary for the story, the movie is lengthy for a horror film (2 hours and 15 minutes)
