Ralph Breaks the Internet also called Wreck-It Ralph 2 is a 3D computer-animated comedy film produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Walt Disney Animation Studios. The film is a sequel to Wreck-It Ralph which was released in 2012. The film is directed by Rich Moore and Phil Johnston and features a cast consisting of John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Gal Gadot, Taraji P. Henson, Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch, and Alan Tudyk.

The Film Review
The Plot
Released on 5th November 2018, Ralph Breaks the Internet continues the story as Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz can be seen hanging out together as best friends, six years after their misadventure together. One day, Vanellope admits being bored on her game which makes Ralph create a bonus track for her to race on it.
Their race accidentally breaks the controller which forces Mr. Litwak (the owner of the arcade) unplug Sugar Rush. Ralph, in order to save Vanellope’s game, goes into the internet to buy a new controller on eBay. The two meet a pop-up advertiser named Spamley to ask him about how he makes a large amount of money in a short time.
Spamley asks them to steal an expensive car belonging to Shank from the online game Slaughter Race. The duo manages to steal the car only to be caught by Slaughter to applauds Vanellope’s driving skills, whereas, insulting Ralph at the same time.
The two then meet a video sharing site called BuzzzTube owned by Yesss, who teaches them how to work gain money by working according to user trends. Ralph manages to earn enough money despite getting insults through user comments.
Meanwhile, it is revealed that Vanellope has developed a liking to Shank and his game, which makes Ralph jealous to an extent that he goes and talks to a virus that feeds on a character’s insecurity.
This causes mass chaos as Ralph himself becomes affected by it, before gaining control by overcoming his vulnerabilities. Enraged by Ralph’s actions, Vanellope leaves which makes Ralph think that her moving to a new game does not mean that it will affect their friendship.
Ralph apologizes and the two eventually become best friends again, with Sugar Rush being replugged and Vanellope moving to Slaughter Race as an active racer.
The Movie Production
Ralph Breaks the Internet was announced officially in 2016. The film faced many obstacles in the form of scripting and story writing before eventually deciding upon the one released.
Little information has been released regarding its visual effects, however, the official VFX supervisor and producers revealed that they had to work overtime on the weekends even after working a 12-hour shift throughout the weekdays. The film contains over 150 unique sets and 5700 assets.

The official soundtrack for the film is composed by Henry Jackman. It was officially released on 16th November 2018 by Walt Disney.

Overall, Ralph Breaks the Internet is a hilarious and entertaining film that has, so far, managed to gross welll over $100 million on the box office at the first week (with the production budget being $175 million). The combination of the plot with the 3D graphics is what makes the film perfect to watch with the whole family.
