Star Wars: The Last Jedi is the second part of the third Star Wars trilogy that fans all over the world have been following for quite a while now. Released in 2017 by Lucasfilm Ltd., this action-packed, adventure-Sci-Fi film features the cast likes of Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Daisy Ridley as Rey and Carrie Fisher as Leia Organa. The other members of the cast are Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Andy Serkis as Snoke, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO to name just a few. Having a runtime of 152 minutes in total, this installment is currently the longest one yet! The film continues to bring us the story of Luke Skywalker as he is encountered by Rey, a young ambitious woman who possesses the strength and will of the Force. Luke, under the effect of self-exile initially refuses to teach her the ways of the Jedi but later reconsiders. The overall story revolves around the events after The Force Awakens.

The Game Review
Star Wars: The Last Jedi continues from where it left off in its previous installment as the viewers get to notice the story of Rey, a strong woman with potential, and her discovery of the self-exiled Jedi, Luke Skywalker. Meanwhile, following their successful operation to destroy Starkiller base, General Leia Organa along with the rest of the Resistance fighters can be seen evacuating their base in order to avoid a conflict with the First order fleet but fail to do so. After an intense encounter between the two forces, the Resistance fighters manage to escape but not without suffering heavy casualties. Despite their efforts, the First Order fleet, led by Snoke, Hux, and Ren quickly manages to catch up with the fleet where Kylo Ren leads an intense attack against the Resistance force.
After the TIE fighter escorts shoot down the bridge, killing several Resistance Leaders including Admiral Ackbar. In the heat of the moment, Finn notices how Rey has gone missing.
On the other end, accompanied by Chewbacca and droid R2-D2, Rey meets Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and asks him to teach him the ways of the Jedi. Initially refusing to take Rey under his apprenticeship, Skywalker reconsiders after being confronted with the ghost of Master Yoda who reminds him of what the Jedi and The Resistance truly stand for. Luke realizes his mistake and goes to confront Ren in order to apologize for failing her in the past. Ren, however, completely rejects his apology by declaring that the Resistance is dead and with his death, the Jedi will finally experience complete extinction. However, it is revealed that Luke is still physically on Ahch-To as Ren’s blade completely passes through Skywalker’s body.
Although Skywalker’s efforts help the Resistance to escape from the clutches of The First Order, the aftereffects of this technique were too much for Luke to handle and hence, he ends up dying on the same cliff where he trained Rey, leaving Ren is a state of frustration. Luke’s body vanishes with his death as he becomes one with the Force.
All in all, The Last Jedi is a movie that has left its viewers wondering what is to come in the final installment as they still have so many questions unanswered.
