The Song Review

Sia – The Powerhouse behind Titanium!

Titanium was a pop song in its own style, yet it was very modern at the time of its release. That is why; it naturally stood out. However, the real potential of this song was its message about bullying. Sia’s lyrics are the real driving force behind this song. She is known for writing honest and emotional songs.

Titanium for Sia turned out to be a genuine song. It is more of an anthem of empowerment that took a pop touch to rock. Vocals b Sia perfectly complemented the music production of David Guetta. It turned out to be a stalwart collaboration.

However, you need to know that Sia was not supposed to be part of the final version. In fact, she just sang the brief demo after writing. The demo was passed to Katy Perry and Mary J. Blige. However, things did not work out with these two singers. Katy Perry listened to Sia’s demo and just loved it. She recommended David keep Sia in it. The rest is history and how incredibly well it was rolled out.

David requested Sia to be in the song. Sia agreed on one condition that she would not be part of the song promotion, including the music video.

The song went on to gain massive commercial and critical success.

The song did a phenomenal job on music charts. In the UK, the song took the No. 1 spot on the UK music chart.
