StrongRecovery 4.4.3.0

Let me tell you I wish that I had known about StrongRecovery a few computers ago! This is a piece of software that is designed with getting your information be it pictures, files, or whatever from damaged devices. So, if you had some special pictures on a memory stick that is corrupted and you think they are long gone, give StrongRecovery a shot and you may be able to get them back.

The Program Review

This works on many different things. From hard drives, USB memory sticks, SD cards, and more and it can deal with all manner of file types too. It even works with devices such as phones and cameras! I have probably got rid of at least three digital cameras over the years with images saved on them that I thought were gone as the camera no longer worked!

The UI for StrongRecovery is very easy to use. I am glad of this as the idea of the program is pretty intense and I am sure some of you may be worried you need the tech smarts of Tony Stark to get it to work, but that is not the case. The UI makes it all very easy to figure out and while they do give you detailed instructions; I fumbled my way through my first run thanks to the intuitive UI.

You connect whatever it is you want to try and recover from to your computer. You select it and you can then view any recovered items that it has managed to get. You can then save these recovered files on your computer to do with them whatever you want. They do advise that you do not try and edit or mess with the files on the damaged device and that was advice I took to heart.

I had an SD card that no longer worked, it would refuse to open and I could not do anything with it. The reason I kept this “broken” SD card was that it had some photos of a trip we took to Disneyland Paris back in 2014. I kept meaning to take it to a “specialist” and see if they could get the images off it, but I never got round to it.

When I knew I had to test out StrongRecovery, I thought it was the perfect chance to try and see if there was any hope for that SD card. I am not exaggerating here when I say that within 30 minutes, we had recovered all of the photos (there were over 70!) and my wife had them uploaded to a photo website and had physical copies ordered.

I know this is going to sound very cheesy, but without this program, those special memories would be long gone. You cannot put a price on something like this…. well actually you can because StrongRecovery is not a free service, but I think the pricing of this is not bad at all.

The Lite License is the most basic and this only gives you 14 days of access and you can use it on one computer and this costs $24. You would spend more than that taking a damaged drive or device to a store! The next license is the Personal License (the one I got) this costs you $37, but you get a lifetime of use out of it and it can be used on two computers.

There is one more license and that one is called the Professional License. This license costs $96, can be used on up to five computers, and is more aimed at those who work with damaged drives. In all, StrongRecovery is a fantastic program and one that is easy to use and can help get back files and memories that you thought were long gone!
