As you have probably already figured out, Voicemod is a program that allows you to change your voice. From having fun when playing a game online, adding funny effects to a stream, or just trolling some folks at work. Messing around with Voicemod is a lot of fun and it is one of the best pieces of voice changer software that you can get right now.
How to Download Voicemod
To download the program, click on the Download button at the end of this review. The tool, as of the time of writing is only available for Windows, but the macOS version is coming.
The Program Review
The way that Voicemod works could not be any easier. Currently, there are over 70 different voice mods that you can use. These range from sounding like a zombie, changing your gender, having autotune, being in a cave, and a ton more. It is a lot of fun messing around with these and seeing what they are like.
As of right now, there is no Mac version available only Windows and as far as mobile goes, only iPhone is supported right now. This would be awesome if they could get a PlayStation and Xbox version going, but as of me writing this, you can only play PC games and use Voicemod.
By the way, gaming is not all this is used for. You can use it if you are just making a call to a friend and you want to make them laugh too. As well as changing your voice, Voicemod also has this cool feature called the Meme Sound Machine. This is your own soundboard where you can set certain sounds and effects to a hotkey and use them at the press of a button.
That is not all for the features that this thing has. You can also create your very own voice mods and then save them as a preset. You do this by recording your voice and then tinkering with various options to get it just the way you want and then you can save it and use it whenever you like.
Voicemod really is great. This is very easy to use, has tons of features and it is just so much fun to play around with. There are two different versions of Voicemod, a free version, and the Voicemod Pro version. Free is more of a demo as it is very limited in what it lets you actually do.
Even though it is just a demo, the free version is still fun. You do not get access to the whole library of mods. Instead, the free version gives you six different presets each day so you get to sample a new selection each day. This is great, but it means there may be some days where there are none you like. Also, the free version does not let you use the Meme Sound Machine or make your own voice mod presets.
The Pro Version gives you access to all the features and effects right from the get-go. You do have to pay for this and you have three different options. You can pay a monthly fee of £4.99; an annual payment can be made for £17.88 and there is also a lifetime license unlock for £49.99.
I think that Voicemod is a lot of fun. It is great if you are a streamer, want to have some extra fun playing games online, or if you just want to make your friends and family laugh. It is very easy to use and I actually think that the Pro Version of this is very fairly priced.
