This Video Rotator software is something that I have had a lot of fun with. I like to record a lot of stuff on my phone and as I am not a professional at least half the time when I upload it to Facebook or whatever, it is the wrong way around! The Program Review
This is free to download so there is really no excuse not to have this on your computer. It works with Android and iPhone so pretty much everyone is covered here. The idea here is that you can rotate your video 90, 180 and 270 degrees. You can even flip it vertically or horizontally thanks to the mirror function!
The software allows you to use over 15 different types of file formats. AVI, MPG, MP4, FLV, WMV, MOV and many more are all supported by this software. You can then save your video in one of five different file types which are, MP4, AVI, MPG, FLV, and MOV. I am not sure why you cannot save it in all the formats in which you can use the software with, but to be honest I do not see this as a major deal.
One thing that is really cool about this software is that it is not just all about rotation. Let’s say that you have a video on your computer that is an AVI file that you shot on your Sony phone. If you want to convert that AIV file to a MOV file for your iPad, you can do that here. You just set the rotation to nothing and change the save file type and it will change the video to that type of file.
In all honesty with you guys, being able to save a video as a different file format is just as huge a feature as the rotation stuff. I am sure that many people will make use of this even if they do not have any need to rotate their videos. The whole thing takes no time at all, you just select your file, rotation if you want it and then what kind of file you want it to save as.
I really like how there is next to no clutter with this software. It is very easy to use, even someone who usually thinks “editing” software is complex will be able to use this. The ease of use in downloading it and actually making use of it makes this an easy recommendation.
