The Game Review
The campaign mode which can either be played single or as a group of four players is composed of eleven missions each one having a different set of objectives and strategy that the player will have to undergo. Play through the game to earn yourself score as these scores help you to achieve a high player level and weapon level. Player levels can further be used to unlock cyber cores and weapons. The difficulty levels are increased in the order of the following: Recruit, Regular, Hardened, Veteran and Realistic. The last level of difficulty is the most crucial and impossible level as only a single shot can kill your player and end the game.
Each level throws forward a different set of challenges known as the Accolades. The challenges that you will come across will range from saving your player from getting shot and killed to killing your enemies under different circumstances. Completing mission two is relatively more crucial as it is only at this level that you are given access to the Safehouse. The Safehouse is the place where you can go through your collectibles, alter your wardrobe, unlock different items and reselect missions. The Cyber Core Station can also be opened here, where you can upgrade your players with a number of impressive abilities. These abilities can further be enhanced to increase the value of each perk.
By reaching a certain level, you can also add variety to the number of weapons that your player carries which can be unlocked by using a Fabrication Kit. Besides weapons, Tactical, Lethals, and Wildcards can also be unlocked in a similar way. There are a total of 56 collectibles that you can achieve throughout the eleven missions. The collectibles are available in the following forms: robot parts, helmets, weapons, and intels. The collectibles around you can easily be tracked by interacting with collectible control option in the Safehouse. Finding all the collectibles is important, and if you feel that you have missed a collectible, you can quickly restart the mission to grab your missing weapon.
The single-player campaign mode lasts for about 14 to 15 hours and allows the user to play any level or mission at any time, as there is no limitation of a set order.
