The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is an adventure game which is also a free demo of Life is Strange 2. Developed by Dontnod Entertainment it was in the markets in June 2018 on Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. TAACS like most adventures is a single player game. Life is Strange 2 scheduled for release on September 27, 2018, is a sequel to the acclaimed Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm.

The Game Review
In the game, you play the role of Chris – the main character around which the entire game revolves. Chris is a young boy who loves playing a superhero. The game contains different missions and expeditions and investigating the planets envisioned by the kid. Chris can interact and react to the different characters in the game and an interesting tidbit is that the decisions the player take as Chris in this game will likewise have results in the actual Life Is Strange 2.
The game starts with a really nice song and then it eventually takes the player to Chris who is talking to himself about being a superhero. To make The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit much more fun, the player can customize Chris’s clothing, etc. and add their own touch to it. Like in the beginning as Chris is drawing Captain Spirit on a sketchpad, the player is asked whether they want to add a mask or a helmet if you would prefer the light armor or the heavy armor to the superhero. Then after the customization, the game officially starts.
The player can click on different things like a pencil or a door for Chris to do the action/tasks. Although, in the beginning, when you click on things like posters and pictures, Chris provides a description of those items. The player can also toggle on and off while answering questions. Chris can play with toys, and then plan an entire story as a Captain Spirit and you can choose between the different options – to destroy the evil toy or to release it.
A large portion of the goals in the game is entirely discretionary, and you can complete the demo according to the choices you make. However, the character’s yearning is to go on different experiences as Captain Spirit. These range from the everyday to the fantastical –Captain Spirit wants to spend the day playing with his toys to “check in” on them, on the other hand, he needs to collect the parts of his ensemble to go on greater journeys, such as overpowering snowman, and the water hoarding “creature” in his home which basically is an out of order heater.
After breakfast, the player is asked to do what he wants on a weekend and a list of “My awesome list to do” appears on the screen for the player to choose from. This is pretty much how the game continues.
The Awesome Adventure of Captain Spirit let you enjoy cool narration and missions that lead you to the discovery of locked content. The game is a splendid announcement of things to come in Life is Strange 2.
