There are so many mod packs and ways to tinker with Minecraft that it can be very hard to know where to start. Today we are looking at Lunar Client which is a popular mudpack. Currently, this is compatible with Minecraft 1.7, 1.8, 1.12, 1.15, and 1.16 and best of all it is completely free to use.

The Program Review
The main reason as far as I can tell why people would want to use this is for the boost it can give the game. The frames per second boost that Lunar Client can give Minecraft is regarded as one of the best around. Of course, a lot of this does depend on your computer, but this can improve things by as much as three times!
Look, I love Minecraft, but when a lot of stuff is going on (for me it seems to be explosions) the game can sometimes start to crawl in terms of the framerate. With this, you can use the boosted frames feature which will help keep the game running a lot smoother which is something we can all agree is a very good thing.
While the booster frames may be the main reason that people come to this, there are also many other mods that you can play around with included with the Lunar Client. There is no way that I could run through them all, but I do want to single out a few that I had fun with or found useful during my time with this.
The mods that mainly interested me with this were the ones that had an effect on the gameplay. The item tracker for example makes it easier to know where things are and you can even play around with the crosshair which I found very handy as it made it much easier for me to know exactly what I was mining or hitting.
I like mods that feel like they should have been in the game in the first place. A great example of this is the boss bar mod which can give a boss a health bar so you know where you stand. Another mod that I found to be a lot of fun was the one that added in a combo meter. I do not know why, I just thought this was cool and made the combat feel a little bit more “beat-em-up” like which I enjoyed.
I already mentioned the frames per second boost that you can get with the Lunar Client. However, there are many more mods that can make the game look and feel better too. You can tinker with the saturation, make pots shinier, and so on and little things like this do a great job of making the game look better.
It is very easy to see why so many people love using the Lunar Client with Minecraft. It really is one of the better Minecraft mod packs out there. Not only is this free, once you download it, but it also could not be any easier to use. The UI is very intuitive and you just need to play around for a few minutes and you will have it all figured out.
