Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is an indie fantasy action RPG game developed by Darkstar. The game is said to be inspired by the Soul Series as it is similarly set in a dark environment, mostly consisting of science-fictional creatures. The main playable character, named Adam, is someone who has completely lost his past memories hence, the main aim of the game is for the players to play through the campaign and recall Adam’s past sins that have led him to this point.
The game was released on 16th October 2018 and is available to play on the platforms of PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows.

The Game Review
Sacrifice for Redemption is a mixture of numerous genres that are combined together. It features a dark and scary environment with the addition of having an anime-styled design to it.
The main storyline is based on the character of Adam who has previously committed heinous acts but has lost his memory due to some reason. The campaign mostly revolves around Adam’s story as players get to find to find out whether their journey leads him to redemption or simply a tale of sacrifice.
As the gameplay begins, players are required to traverse through different maps as they get to defeat the enemy characters who apparently are the physical forms of the seven deadly sins.
All the seven sin characters are derived from the player’s flashbacks. As far as the appearance of the bosses is concerned, each of the deadly sins is uniquely terrifying.
Envy can be seen as a headless woman whereas Greed can be seen wielding a scythe and spitting poison from its mouth. Furthermore, every boss has its own unique set of skills that the players have to encounter. Apart from that, other enemies are considerably weak that can easily be taken down with little to no effort.
Moving on to the game dynamics, Sacrifice for Redemption features quite a detailed gaming environment where players are given control over the type of weapons and moves they perform on their enemies.
The weapons wielded by the players can be leveled up, making them more effective in-turn. Another major feature includes player-controlled endings. Throughout the storyline, player choices and decision making will ultimately affect their character’s future events, thus allowing them to choose one of the many endings.
Lastly, the game also allows its players to tweak with their character’s abilities. This basically relates to players having to sacrifice abilities in order to specialize in a particular skill, that they may believe, is more effective.
