The Swords of Ditto Review
The game can be played solo or co-op. There are three modes that you can choose from, Hero Mode, Regular Mode and Relaxed Mode, each with different difficulty levels.
Every hundred years, a witch called Mormo comes out and spreads negativity across the land. This century, only four days are left for that day to come. Once you begin the game, you come across Puku, a flying beetle that will guide you through your mission. Puku takes you to a sword that was owned by many before you who were ultimately killed by Mormo. After acquiring the sword, you become the Sword of Ditto and you receive the strength of those who possessed it before you. Afterward, Puku and the sword take you to Mormo’s Palace, where you defeat the guards outside and make your way in. You finally come face-to-face with Mormo. It does not end well and you end up dead because you were not well-trained.
A hundred years pass. During this time, Mormo has dominated much of the Island with her misery and negativity. Once again, four days are left for the rise of Mormo. If nobody saves the land this time, it might fall under her evil influence forever. Therefore, Puku sets off to find a new child. You play your role as the new child and once again become the Sword of Ditto. However, this time, you are first sent to a training area where Yertle, the sword keeper, resides.
You can carry multiple weapons like torches, bombs and an arrow and bows. Various Marts, Toy Shacks, Sticker Shacks and other superstores are available to facilitate you on the way. You have gold coins to buy whatever you need to get to your goal. You can replenish gold by searching for it through the bushes in the town.
