Our verdict
- This is a fantastic retelling of the Roald Dahl classic
- The stop-motion animation is some of the best I have ever seen
- It has a large cast of interesting characters
- This is the kind of movie that is just crying out for a well-done 4K release
- The voice acting is amazing, but as much as I love the movie, the songs are not all that memorable
