Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is a science-fiction adventure movie and the latest addition to the Jurassic Park franchise. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is directed by the Spanish film director J. A. Bayona and features Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, B.D. Wong, and Jeff Goldblum as the main cast. The film was released on 21st May 2018 and is a sequel to the film Jurassic World (2015).

The Film Review
The story continues from where it left off last time as we get to see how three years after the events of the previous film, the Jurassic World theme park on Isla Nublar becomes abandoned.
After the United States Senate refuses to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from the park, Jurassic World’s former operations manager, Claire Dearing, along with Owen Grady decide to reinstate the remaining dinosaurs to another island which will be free of all human interferences.
Much to their surprise, they encounter new breeds of dinosaurs that had never been seen before. It turns out, a band of mercenaries have been cloning dinosaurs and are planning to capture and sell them to international smugglers. Claire and Owen must now work together to stop this act and save the world from the threat that lies ahead if the mercenaries succeed.
25 years after its first release, the Jurassic Park franchise is back with its fifth installment to wow the audience with its traditional action, adventure, and mild humor. What are the main differences between then and now? Well, apart from the obvious improvements made in the visuals and graphics department, it’s clear to see how the franchise has tuned down on the bloodshed and gore that used to define Jurassic Park but regardless, the dinosaurs look better than ever!
Director Bayona along with the animators have managed to do an incredible job adjusting the cameras with each of its characters and making the details stand out compared to its previous films.
Moving on to the plot, Fallen Kingdom’s action scenes are some of the most iconic ones that we’ve seen throughout the Jurassic Park franchise. The intensity of the fights is simply jaw-dropping which keeps the viewers at the edge of their seats.
Despite the efforts made by Bayona and his animation team, Fallen Kingdom has been massively criticized for its lack of consistency and because of its flawed script. Critics have argued that the Jurassic Park franchise has betrayed its audience by failing to provide them with a new creative storyline and quality entertainment. Rather than giving answers to the countless mysteries that already exist in the storyline, this edition has only managed to create more loopholes in the overall series.
Despite the level of mediocrity present in the script, one can still admit that the actors have done a fantastic job in providing qualitative action scenes to the viewers. One positive aspect of the film is that it has created the hype for the next chapter that is to be released in 2021. The film, overall, is family-friendly, entertaining and is one of the new movies which should be seen in the cinema.
