Before you read this, I highly recommend that you check out my Harley Quinn review first as Kite Man: Hell Yeah is a spin-off. My experience with Kite Man was minimal at best, I remember him from an episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold that my son watched and that is about it. However, Kite Man was fantastic in Harley Quinn, one of the most fun characters in the show and I was interested to see how a show revolving around him would work.

Kite Man: Hell Yeah! – The TV Series Review
The thing is, much like Harley Quinn, Kite Man has a great ensemble cast. Kite Man and his girlfriend Golden Glider buy out their favorite bar, Noonan’s to stop Lex Luthor from doing so. However, they have to pay millions for it, but as they are villains, they are pretty sure that they can get the money.
Much like the relationship between Harley and Ivy being a huge part of Harley Quinn. The relationship between Golden Glider and Kite Man or Chuck if you prefer, is a huge part of what makes this show so entertaining. These two are so adorable together and I think that the character growth of both is awesome, Golden Glider with her mom issues and Kite Man with his dad issues.
The Ensemble Cast Shines in Kite Man: Hell Yeah!
The ensemble cast here is awesome, my favorite has to be Bane. Bane was great in Harley Quinn and he gets even more time to shine here. Bane growing huge after using penis enlargement medicine and him getting transported back to the 80s via a time-traveling toilet are two of the best things. As well as Kite Man, Golden Glider, and Bane, Queen of Fables also gets fleshed out more as a character here.
I nearly forgot to mention Malice, the daughter of Darkside! Malice is a blast, she is like Wednesday Adams and Lydia Deetz rolled into one, but with even more attitude. We once again get a bunch of other appearances from other DC characters which is fun, Captain Gold, Golden Glider’s brother being a total loser was something that I got a huge kick out of.
Should You Watch Kite Man: Hell Yeah!?
Kite Man: Hell Yeah on paper is the kind of show that simply does not need to exist. However, if you liked Harley Quinn, I do not see there being any way you do not have fun here. I do think that it starts a little slow and if I am being honest, after the first episode I was not completely sold. Yet, by the time the last episode ended, I went straight to see if there was going to be a season 2 and as of writing, it has not yet officially been confirmed.
As well as there not being a season 2 of Kite Man: Hell Yeah being confirmed, I have not been able to find anything about this show coming to Blu-Ray either. That is a real shame as I would love to add this to my collection just as much as Harley Quinn. While I do prefer the Harley Quinn show, Kite Man: Hell Yeah is a tremendous companion show.
