Hello is a soul song by the popular English singer Adele. The song is the leading single from her third studio album called 25. The song was co-written by Adele herself along with the song’s producer Greg Kurstin. Hello is one of those very rare songs that managed to reach the top of the list in almost every country it charted in. The song debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed there for 10 consecutive weeks, breaking numerous records. The Review of the Song
The writing process of the song was slow but worth it. After spending approximately six months just writing the song, Hello was finally released which managed to take the world by storm. Its deep lyrics and vocals are what mainly attracted viewership from all around the world. In the song, Adele sings about all the nostalgic and regretful moments that she had gone through throughout her life.
According to Adele herself, the lyrics do not simply portray feelings of regret relating to ex-relationships but extend to a much wider perspective such as the transition from childhood to a teenager to finally an adult. In an interview, she explained how the lyrics “Hello from the other side” refer to the factor of becoming an adult. The lyrics also define how different and complex it is to be an adult compared to a teenager who has very few responsibilities in comparison.

Coming over to the official song video, the sequence is portrayed in a partial black and white background with Adele going inside what seems like a very old and abandoned house. She then goes over to the kitchen and brews herself some team and sings along to the music. As per the theme of the song, the house is assumed to be Adele’s old house where she had spent her childhood in.
As the sequence progresses, a man can be seen talking in a light and relaxing mood. He can also be seen making and having dinner with presumably Adele herself. The man is apparently portrayed as her ex-partner whom she lived with but is no more in her life now.
The sequence further shows how their relationship went from high to low as they can be seen arguing and Adele crying while talking to him on the phone. As the video comes close to the ending, it can be seen the man leaving Adele as a result of their constant disagreements which consequently made their entire relationship toxic. The video was released on 22nd October 2015 and so far, has managed to receive over 2.4 billion views.

Adele stepped into the world of music right after graduation. Throughout her career, she has also been a victim of body shaming and has, on numerous occasions, come out to answer all the criticism relating to her body weight.
