The Song Review

Blackpink – How You Like That – the Meaning of the Lyrics

If we talk about the song’s lyrics, it is filled with the beauty of encouragement and staying strong during dark times. The girl’s group has ideally put together the meaning of staying positive all the time, even during a rough time.

The way Blackpink has projected the lyrics and is singing it with passion seems like someone has mocked them so severely. Therefore, they are telling others never to lose hope and stay strong.

The lyrics have been relatively simple and easy to understand.

About the Artist – Blackpink

I believe that, after BTS, Blackpink is South Korea’s most famous group to have achieved prominence in the music business. Lisa, Jiseo, Rose, and Jennie compose the group of four females.

They started in the entertainment business in 2016 with the release of their debut album, Square One. This song achieved the top position on the Billboard World Digital Chart Song Sales. The group has been proudly honored with different nominations which gave them huge fame.

Numerous records have been broken over the group’s singing history. In 2019, they released the album “Kill this Love,” and in 2020, they published “how you like that”; both videos were the most-watched within 24 hours of their release. This group was the first female Korean band to have a billion views on YouTube for their five lyric videos.
