The Song Review

Enrique Iglesias – El Perdedor – the Meaning of the Lyrics

The whole song has been written in Spanish, but translating it into English will give you an inside idea about the beauty of this song. Eight years back, Enrique wrote this song and saved it just because he was waiting for the right time to release the music.

The song is heartbroken; the singer is questioning her lady love about what else she wants from him now. He has given her all the love and affection she wanted from him, but now he is tired of all the love tests. He should stay a loser and not satisfy her any longer.

A Video Interpretation of Enrique Iglesias – El Perdedor

In the video, you can see Iglesias and Marco Solís singing their song at an event where Sandra’s character is coming with her date. Once she saw Enrique on the stage singing with all his heart and passion, she gave him all her attention. She started remembering all those moments she had with him when they were in a relationship. At the end of the video, she could not stop crying and left the event crying.
