The music video features intense colorful visual effects. The sequence begins with the camera journeying across the city is a mesmerizing manner. In a big hall, Grande can be seen walking upside down until moving on towards a web of lights as she gets stuck in it.
This is followed up by small clips of the city as Grande can be seen sitting and walking across numerous buildings who seemingly experience little to no gravity.
She is supported by background performers who dance sideways on a building next to her. In the latter part of the video, Grande can be seen taking off her face as if it were a mask.
This is followed by a visual design where 3D visuals of Grande’s face appear on the screen singing, portraying the state of mind she is in. All these acts defy the laws of science, indicating that this state of mind is something that can only be achieved within the conscience of an individual.
As long as that individual has a peaceful state of mind, there is no form of hate that can encompass them.
