The Program Review

As the name suggests, this piece of software is free to use. They do have a few different pro versions you can upgrade to, but I am just looking at the free version they currently offer. So, who is this kind of thing for? Well, I would say anyone that has a ton of stuff on their PC that they do not want to lose.

For example, as well as doing a lot of freelance writing work, I have lots of pictures of my family on my computer that I would never want to lose. This software which is easy to download allows me to back it all up anywhere I want. What I have been using is an external USB hard drive, but you can use a memory stick, DVD, Blu-Ray and so on if you prefer.

Once download I really liked how easy the software was to use. I decided to try it out by updating my photo folders and was impressed at not just how fast it was, but how easy it was to select the folders I wanted. I noticed that I could have selected individual files if I had wanted which is a nice touch.

To be honest with you, if you have the external storage space it is probably easiest just to back up your whole system. I have had to do system restores on my PCs in the past, but this is a million times easier. There is a backup schedule part of this software that is really handy. You can select it to back up your stuff whenever you like. I decided that I would set mine for every second week.

You do not have to worry about having tons of backups taking up space on your storage device. You can make it so when it does a new back up that it will get rid of the old ones. This is a great way to not just save space, but it also keeps you from getting confused about what backup to use.

This is very easy to use and it has many other options and ways that you can back up your important stuff. You can create a bootable media disc or drive which can come in handy if you ever have to restore your OS. I made one, left it on a memory stick and have put it in a drawer just in case.

In all, if you are looking for a way to back up the files, programs and so on that are near and dear to you. I really do think that you will find this MiniTool ShadowMaker Free software a joy to use. Not only is this thing very easy to use, but it is also free and it is very useful. It is the kind of thing that when or if you do have to use it you will be super happy that you decided to download in the first place.
