The Program Review

The idea of Belarc Advisor is that once you have downloaded it and started it running it will find out all of the essential information about your computer. It can find out how much ram you have, what your motherboard is and its bios, what graphics card you had, and a ton more.

You may be wondering why you would need something like this, but it can come in very handy. For example, if there is something wrong with your computer and you need to know what motherboard you have, this is the easiest way to do it. Or, let’s say you want to play a game or use a piece of software, but do not know the specs of your graphics card, ram, and so on, this can find that out for you.

The amount of things that this can find out for you is just staggering. Even things like the last time a USB drive was used, what printers have been connected, user accounts, and login details. It is amazing the amount of information about your computer and its use that this can give you.

Now, you may be worried about some program finding out all this information! However, there is no need to worry about security. The Belarc Advisor does not store any of the information that it finds online, it is all just stored locally. It even makes it so it is easy to copy the information in case you do need to share it.

One of the craziest things about this is what it works with. It works with Mac, Linux, and Windows, but it is Windows that blew my mind. It seems to work with every kind of Windows, even if you have a super old machine that is running Windows 95, this can get in there and find all of the information you need!

Once downloaded, it is very easy to figure out how to use Belarc Advisor. It does have simple instructions, but I would say it is very intuitive to figure out how to get it to scan your computer. Considering just how much information this thing gets, the speed at which it works is very impressive.

If you need to know information about your computer this is one of if not the best way to do it. You do not have to spend a penny and being able to quickly access this kind of information can come in way handier than you would think. There are other similar programs that actually charge you to use them that are nowhere near as good as this!
