What started life out as a game you can play in your browser has now become a full release on STEAM. Krunker is actually a free-to-play game and while at first glance it may not look that great. This is the kind of game that is very, very easy to become addicted to, which is exactly what happened to me.

The Game Review
What we have here with Krunker is a first-person shooter that has a real old-school kind of feel to it. The game may have a real “Roblox” kind of style to the visuals which I do not exactly find appealing, but I get that some people will. The game moves at a pretty fast-paced and speed is actually the first thing I want to talk to you about.
The movement in Krunker is kind of strange in that there is this “exploit” that you can do. This exploit allows you to zoom around the map at top speed and it is 100 percent a trick that you have to learn. Each match is full of people flying around the map and the quick pace is what I have found the most fun.
You have many different classes that you can select from. These are all over the place in terms of what they offer and I do suggest you try as many as you can to find the right class for you. My personal favorite class has to be the one where you get to wield dual machine guns. Some classes, like the crossbow or sniper I found very hard due to how fast people move around the map.
You earn currency in the game as you play and with this currency, you can buy new skins for your weapons. As far as the game modes go, you have your standard first-person shooter modes on offer here. Team deathmatch, free for all and capture the flag, for example, I always seemed to get into one of the basic games really quickly. I was usually looking at a minute at the most from loading the game to getting into a match.
I have found that when you get into a match with a bunch of good players, sticking with them is the way to go. After each match, you can vote on the game mode and the map that you will be fighting on. It is kind of like what happens when you finish a game in Call of Duty.
What is really great about this game is all of the mods and custom maps, modes and so on people have done. I have played a zombie mode, gun game, and more and they have all worked really well. I will say that getting into one of the user-created modes can be a bit finicky, but when you get into a game it tends to work fine.
Look, I will never say that Krunker is the deepest first-person shooter out there. What I will say is that this is a very fun game. It looks silly and easy, but there is a fair bit of skill required to get good at the game and actually compete. There is some great user content here too and the fact that this is free, means you have no excuse to not check it out.
