Ok, so I will admit that when I heard about The Henry Stickmin Collection I kind of rolled my eyes. I remember these games about 10 years ago and what a huge deal they were when flash games were all the rage. I was so sure that these would just be those flash games slapped together and that was that. Boy was I wrong!

The Game Review
If you played these games back in the day then you are in for a real treat here. These are the same games you played back then, but to say they have been given a fresh coat of paint is a massive understatement. They worked their butts off to bring these games back and they have the same style, but everything, every single aspect is sharper and clearer than before.
In case you do not know the idea of the game is that you play as Henry Stickmin and he is best described as a thief whose life takes many strange twists and turns. The games are all about the choices you make as you play. Will you use the shrink ray or the liquidficator? There are tons and I mean tons of choices that you make as you play.
Sometimes the choices are good and sometimes they are bad. No matter what, you will get a chuckle out of what happens. Some of the choices you can make are just flat out nuts and will legit make you laugh. There is quite a bit of replay value as there are different endings that you can encounter.
I remember these games being a big deal on YouTube when they were first released. The thing with these games is that you really need to play them by yourself to appreciate them, rather than watching someone on YouTube doing so. The choices you can make are great and most of the time you never really are 100 percent sure what the right way to go is and that is part of the fun.
The game has all the games you remember. You can play through, Escaping the Prison, Stealing the Diamond, Infiltrating the Airship, and Fleeing the Complex. These are the same games you remember, but they are done in a much higher quality and even if you beat them a million times, you will still have fun.
The real cherry on the top of the cake is the brand-new story you can play through. Completing the Mission is a brand-new game for you to take part in. This is a lot of fun and probably worth the price of admission alone. Completing the Mission is much larger than all of the other games and it is fantastic.
I will fully admit that my initial impressions of what this would be were wrong. This is a classic set of games that took over the internet for a while and it is great to see them back. The people behind this collection gave it far more attention and love than I thought they would and as a result, I give them a big high five.
