Unravel Two takes what Yarny did in the first game and it brings us a second, Blue Yarny so we can play with friends. Even if the game is designed as a cooperative, couch coop experience, it can be played on your own just as nicely. But the thing to notice here is that there will be locations where you can go only with a friend. So it’s offering you a reason to replay with a buddy, which is always nice and fun.

The Game Review
In this second game, Yarny and his friend are lost at sea and we encounter new locations that we need to explore and figure out how to get home. This is a story about friendship, exploration, challenges and finding new ways to deal with any challenges that come your way.
It’s a very demanding situation to deal with stuff like this, but Unravel Two does a very good job at giving you a massive game world to experience and explore as you see fit.
But the best thing about adding a second character is that you get to have multiple new game mechanics. That definitely enhances the huge range of possibilities and it offers you some rewarding moments all the time. As you play the puzzles get better and better and the game does an amazing job at offering you nifty and tricky experiences every time.
You can hang on a ledge and get the other person to safety, you can throw your yarn and both hang on, as well as a variety of other cool moments that just wait to be explored and experienced. This type of thing is always cool and interesting, and it only gets better the more you give it a shot regardless of the situation.
As for the platforming, it’s better than ever. The controls are responsive and they do an amazing job when it comes to giving you full control over the character. You do have to take a bit of time to get used to the way you control Yarny, but once you and your friend get the hang of it the experience will be more than interesting every time.
There are even some chase scenes, so you will always find some cool new moments to check out and just have fun with all the time, so it’s certainly something that you do not want to miss at all.
We like the fact that in this game one of the players can do all the heavy lifting. So even if you play with someone that doesn’t have a lot of experience with games like this, the results will still be great and a whole lot of fun for both of you.
