As I am a massive fan of the series, Yakuza: Like a Dragon is a game I have had quite an interest in. This is a bit of a departure for the long-running series and in all honesty, it is a breath of fresh air breathed into the franchise. It is a game that can be enjoyed by long time and new fans alike.

The Game Review
The release of Yakuza: Like a Dragon is pretty interesting. While it is available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, it is its timed exclusive status for Xbox Series X/S that is most interesting. While the game is coming to PlayStation 5 next year, if you want to play the next-gen version now, you need to do so on the Xbox Series X/S.
The story is actually quite different from what we are used to. It is about a low-level member of the gang called, Ichiban Kasuga who went to prison for a crime he did not do out of loyalty. Kasuga gets out to find that he was abandoned and the things that he stood for when he went down are not exactly the same.
He joins up with three misfits as they try to fight for justice and stand up for what is right. I loved Kasuga as a character. Having a new character to play as is interesting in its own right, however, it is the emphasis on working as a team and being a good person and a hero that really drew me into this story.
