The Program Review

You download and install this like any other application. Once you have downloaded and installed the browser, the first thing you notice is how similar to Chrome it is. If you are coming from Chrome to this as I did, you will find it very familiar when you are using it. Of course, what sets this apart from Chrome are the many different plugins.

Look, before we get to the plugins and special features of Avast Secure Browser. I have to say that I know this can look intimidating and complicated to use. However, it is very easy and once you have the plugins you want to be turned on, it just does what it does all by itself. So do not be put off because you think this will be hard to use.

Here I want to talk about the various plug-ins or extensions that Avast Secure Browser has to offer. To start with it has an AdBlock that keeps away those annoying ads. It offers its own VPN to keep where you are from private. It also keeps those cookies from being kept on your computer.

One feature that I thought was really cool was the way you could download videos from YouTube with this. I have heard many people say this is a much faster browser, but I found the speed to be comparable with Chrome, and in all honesty, I never noticed a difference. To be fair, this may differ from person to person depending on their computer and ISP.

If you want to use Avast Secure Browser it is all or nothing! By that I mean it is not compatible with other browsers so you have to fully switch over to this. To be honest, I would wager that most people would be fine with this after an hour or so of using it as it is all so simple.

I have tested many browsers, but Avast Secure Browser is one of the best that I have used. The way this keeps your cookies clean, protects against phishing scams, and just keeps everything secure is what makes this such a great browser. Keeping your important, private, and monetary information safe is what this all about and that is not a bad thing at all.

When it comes to the internet, most of us get set in our ways. I never thought anything could make me switch from Google Chrome. It was what I knew and what I felt comfortable using. Avast Secure Browser though is better than Google Chrome. It has better security features and I highly recommend that you give it a try, at the end of the day, you have nothing to lose.
