The Film Review
The Plot
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe has four protagonists – the four siblings named Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy. After moving to Professor Digory Kirke’s house, Lucy discovers a wardrobe that leads her to a parallel world called Narnia.
She initially encounters a faun named Mr. Tumnus who forcefully sends her back after revealing that the wicked white witch has cursed Narnia and ordered to bring any human that appears. Lucy tells the story to rest of her siblings after which, they all eventually travel there to find out that Mr. Tumnus has been captured by the white witch.
The children run into Aslan, a noble lion, who aims to take down the wicked witch. All the children join forces with Aslan except Edmund, who secretly begins to work for the witch before being betrayed and captured by her.
The remaining warriors meet Father Christmas as a sign that the witch’s reign is about to end. Father Christmas gives each of the children a special weapon that can help them defeat the witch’s army.
Peter receives a unique sword. Lucy receives a healing potion that can cure any injuries, and Susan earns herself a magical horn that can summon help. Peter leads the charge against the witch’s army as they eventually free Edmund. Aslan sacrifices himself in the battle but is revived by Lucy’s magical potion.
The kids manage to kill the witch after which they crowned as noble kings and queens of Narnia. Fifteen years later, the kids become adults but suddenly end up back in the real world, the same as they were fifteen years ago without being gone for a moment.
