The song takes inspiration from the mobile game Granny in which you have one innocuous and simple task. You need to escape the eponymous Granny’s house. The Song Review
Starting off with the song lyrics, Granny’s House is a musical portrayal of Granny the game.

From the beginning till the end, the singer describes the situation of what happens inside Granny’s House – the place where the game is set – and explains the gameplay by singing about the obstacles that come up and how to get past those obstacles.
Naturally, the main antagonist described is Granny herself who, as described by the singer, is crazy.
The lyrics followed by this are “What am I gonna do? I gotta run ‘cause she’s after me” which pretty much describes the game scenario where the player has to make an effort in order to escape from Granny’s house.
Granny’s House – the Video
Moving on to the music video, it basically features one of FGTeeV’s main performer (the FUNnel Vision’s dad of four kids Lexi, Michael, Chase, and Shawn) who is virtually adjusted into the game’s environment and surroundings thanks to some clever editing.
The sequel begins where the main antagonist tries to stop his parents from making him go to his granny’s house. Despite his insistence, he still gets dropped off to the place where he finally encounters Granny herself who welcomes her by knocking him out with a bat.
Waking up in an empty room, the main protagonist performer then plans a way to escape from the house and notices his surroundings.
Quite similar to the original gameplay, the sequence displays the obstacles set up by Granny, including a bear’s trap, and the way out of the house by unlocking it through finding different keys.
The protagonist then carefully goes past Granny without her noticing and locates different objects in different parts of the house. Keys are used to unlock the front door whereas a hammer is used to break down the wooden slate that is preventing the door from opening up.
Lastly, the protagonist stumbles upon tranquilizers which he uses to knock out Granny from behind, resultantly taking the last key from her and escaping from the house.
The final scene is a killer.
At the end of the sequence, the protagonist goes over to the next door to ask for help and is lured in by a strange man who then plays a similar role as granny by locking all the doors to repeat the process all over again. He’s the antagonist in another highly popular game Hello Neighbor.
