Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Review
The plot of the game is thoughtful and contains many threads. The young king Evan loses his power after the attack by Mausinger. He decides to set off on a journey to create a new kingdom. It is a difficult and dangerous mission. The main motivation of our hero is to save the world from the dark forces that are ready to attack. This goal can be achieved only by uniting all the inhabitants of the land and at the same time protecting them from peril.
The game offers an open world, which you can freely explorer watching your hero from the third-person perspective. The interface is clear and provides all the information you need. Since this is an action RPG you can count on epic duels with mighty creatures which will require great tactical skills and a properly planned and executed strategy. The duels and travel are often interrupted by video cut scenes. They move the story forward and provide information. The videos are very high quality and combined could easily pass a separate movie.
Your attacks, as befits Japanese RPG, give satisfying and spectacular results, while the big dragons you clash with move in a natural way, terrifying everyone. Not only is the game is interesting and captivating, it will also touch your heart.
The graphics of Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom are very aesthetic. They resemble an animated film. The artwork has been was created by the well-known graphic artist Yoshiyuki Momose, and the soundtrack by Joe Hisaishi – a world-famous musician.
