The Game Review

The best way that you can describe Mutilate-a-Doll 2 is that it is a murder simulator all be it in a fun, tongue in cheek kind of way. You have a never-ending supply of rag dolls to use. The game is very clear that these are rag dolls, not supposed to be people and that they do not feel a thing, so that should ease your conscious a little bit.

Mutilate-a-Doll 2 is one of those games where you just pretty much do whatever you want to do. I have heard that people play this game as a way to blow off steam and get rid of stress. I am not sure about that, but there is something very addictive and fun about this game that has kept me coming back to it the last couple of weeks.

So, you have your doll and now you need to kill that doll. You could just select a gun and use that; you could just throw them off something onto spikes. Or you can get super creative and come up with all kinds of messed up and convoluted ways for the rag doll to meet their end. You have literally over a thousand different things that you can make use of in this game.

I started off pretty basic, but after a while, I was going all out trying to link as many traps, weapons, devices, and other stuff together to make the ultimate murder ride! There is actually a lot of strategy involved here as the game is physics based so you need to think about the stuff you are using and the effect that it is going to have.

The community around this game is pretty great. If you are like me and have a hard time “getting going” go on the forums or watch YouTube video that will teach you how to make more elaborate killing scenarios. These will give you a better understanding of how the game works and then you can move onto making your own stuff.

While some might find the idea of Mutilate-a-Doll 2 rather messed up, I think that it is clear that this is a game that does not take itself too seriously. You will have fun as you play it and I am sure you will be surprised at just how much stuff you can get in this game to kill those poor rag dolls with.

Currently, you can get Mutilate-a-Doll 2 for around 8 bucks on Steam. I feel that there is more than 8 bucks worth of enjoyment to be had here. However, if you are a little unsure, you can play the flash version of this on a ton of sites. You might be better giving that version a try before you go and purchase the Steam version.
