Spintires: MudRunner is a much-improved version of off-road simulation Spintires. The title was released on October 30, 2017. The developer of the game is the American company Saber Interactive, and the games were published by Focus Home Interactive. Saber Interactive is also known for creating such games as Inversion, World of Speed, TimeShift or Classic Sierra Bundle. The original Spintires was released by another studio – British Oove Games Studio in June 2014. In both cases, Pavel Zagrobelny, the original creator of the game, was at the helm of the development process. In Spintires: MudRunner, your task is to drive heavy off-road vehicles across the inhospitable areas of Siberia. Your only friends during the trip are a compass and a map.

In MudRunner, a new world has been added to the five environments in which we could have fun. The game also received a new advanced graphics, a new Challenge mode, and nine maps. We have several vehicles available, a large number of missions and night and day cycle. The latter changes the time of day smoothly and is a very important element of the game. The game engine perfectly reflects the physics of off-road driving. In the current edition of the game, you also have a winch at your disposal which greatly enhances realism. In the game, you can drive a bulldozer, trucks and special military vehicles. These vehicles can be used to cross rivers, drive in swamps, on hills or in the middle of a forest. MudRunner has also got a very atmospheric soundtrack, which enhances the impression of realism.
Spintires: MudRunner includes two game modes – single and multiplayer. This is an interesting solution that allows the player together with other off-road enthusiasts to travel through the wilderness of Siberia. The gameplay in single-mode after some time might get perhaps boring, but playing with friends over the Internet provides you with many hours of interesting gameplay.
The creator of the game releases regular updates to fix bugs and further develop the game. This demonstrates the commitment and serious approach to the process of improving the game.
