As I write this Teardown is a game that is still in early access so please keep that in mind. While this game is building up a bit of a cult following right now. I have a feeling that Teardown has all the makings of the next internet sensation with YouTubers all over the world streaming it.
How to Download Teardown

The Game Review
The best way to think of the game is that it is a heist game. The game does have a pretty interesting campaign. Your company is not doing too good so to make money you take on some work from some shady folks. Before you know it, you are stealing vehicles, breaking into safes, and causing destruction wherever you go.
This is a game that is all about exploiting the destructible environments. Pretty much everything in this game can be destroyed and it is up to you to figure out how to use this to your advantage. You can tear down walls, build up structures, blow stuff up, and more. The “gimmick” is that as soon as you take your first item, the alarm goes off and you need to get all of your targets and get out before security gets you.
That means that the majority of each mission is the set-up phase. Let’s say you are doing the mission where you need to get some keycards. You need to knock down walls, build up pathways, and have a clear way that you are going to go after you grab that first keycard. Of course, things can go wrong and you have to think on the fly, but that is another part of the fun.
As you progress you get more tools that you can use to help you along your way. Sledgehammers, blowtorches, and explosives are things you can use. Finding items in each location can help, so a bit of exploration is encouraged. You can either try and go as easily and quickly as possible. Or, you can try and be more cerebral about it and that can be a lot of fun.
There is also a sandbox mode which is a lot of fun. There is no goal in this mode, but it is so much fun to mess around with all the tools you have earned in the campaign. You can also create your own levels which is not something I have dabbled in, but I am sure this will greatly expand the lifespan of the game.
As of right now, Teardown is not yet finished so more stuff is to be added to the game. Even in early access, this is showing a ton of promise, and the way you solve a level will be different from how I do it. I am sure before long there will be tons of videos and streams online of people doing all kinds of crazy stuff to get through a mission. This is kind of like the heists in GTA V, but with a little bit of Minecraft sprinkled on top.
