American Truck Simulator is a game created by SCS Software studio from the Czech Republic. This production allows the player to traverse North America while driving eighteen-wheeled vehicles and transporting goods between the American cities. American Truck Simulator runs on its own proprietary graphics engine. The game premiered on February 2, 2016. SCS Software Studio has quite a bit of experience with driving simulators. The company has also developed the well-known 18 Wheels of Steel series as well as both parts of Euro Truck Simulator.
How to Download American Truck Simulator

The Gameplay
During the game, your task is to drive powerful trucks across North America, while also taking care to deliver the goods at the right time to the designated place. The devs have ensured that the terrain is mapped as close to reality as possible – allowing the player to drive on expressways and interstate highways. In the beginning, at the time of release, the game offered only two states. These were Nevada and California. However, successive expansions have been added in the form of DLC content.
During the game, you have the opportunity to follow a career path, which is a standard feature in these titles. You start as a simple driver, who works for a transport company but soon you are able to create your own firm, in which can employ your own truck drivers.
The main component of the American Truck Simulator is obviously a fleet of vehicles. We deal here with such brands as Kenworth or Peterbilt vehicles. These have been reproduced with great care for details. Contrary to the situation in Euro Truck Simulator 2, here there are police cars that patrol the road. We also have an option of choosing a parking place for our trailer at the destination point. Depending on your skills, the trailer can be left in the open, or parked in a narrow tunnel. The street traffic has also improved – so now AI maneuvers are in line with traffic regulations. The American states are also covered by a dense road network which reflects real life.
