Euro Truck Simulator 2 – Italia is downloadable content for Euro Truck Simulator 2. It was released on December 5th, 2017 for Windows 10 (least Windows 7 is supported), Mac OS and Linux. This is the fourth big DLC after Going East!, Scandinavia, and Vide la France. It’s good to know that the fifth one Euro Truck Simulator 2: Beyond the Baltic Sea is coming in November 2018.

The DLC Review
The game is developed by SCS Software. The main version of the game was released in 2012. The objective of the game is to pick up some cargo from some location and deliver it properly to another location.
You can select the features of your truck and you can keep improving and buy things as the game advances. In this DLC you can travel to most of Italy because the northern cities are included in the main version of the game. In this version, you can see many landscapes that go from green areas to modern cities with high buildings.
Houses and bridge are something amazing to see in this DLC, you can also admire lights and tunnels, all those details make of this game something really enjoyable. You drive using the first-person perspective, that is another good thing because they strive to make a realistic game whatsoever.
Some names of automobile companies have been altered because they did not pay licenses to appear in the game. You can enjoy watching other cars other than your trucks, some of the cars can go from Alfa Romeo to Aston Martin or Lamborghini. One of the negative things about this DLC is that it doesn’t contain Sardinia Island, this island is also from Italy and it would have been a nice experience to drive to those landscapes.
Gameplay
It’s a realistic truck simulator, in the game you need to pick up cargo and deliver it properly, that means that you can go with faster speed than allowed for trucks, you can see some cops going on looking after you if you do something stupid.
You need to pay for infractions if that happens, you also pay for tollbooths and all those things makes of this game pretty realistic.
As everything is improved with money you need to do a pretty good job driving in order to make the most of it and improve quickly. Playing this game makes you relax a lot as if you were driving in real life but more beautiful because you don’t deal with traffic lag and you get an opportunity to drive to Italy without needing to travel there.
There is also a multiplayer game in this version. You can listen to music here as it provides Radio from the Internet or you can select your favorite music from your computer. You can use realistic joysticks if you have one of those. The game can be something more difficult as game advances because you do some delivers with different features such as bigger cargo or you need to drive in more difficult highways.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 – Italia: Reception and Critic Reviews
This version has received really good critics because it has too much detail on structures, architecture, and details of trucks. The main game had sold 4.5 million copies at the end of 2017. It has received scores of 70 and upper out of 100 in some critical reviews. The main game received the 2012 award for being the best simulating game of that year, so this developing game company has done something good as a matter of effort to do it well.
