NBA 2K16 is a simulation game based on the sport of basketball. The game is developed by Visual Concepts and was published by 2K Sports. Released on 29th September 2015, NBA 2K16 enables players to compete against their opponents in different basketball games. Players can either play with real players or their own created players in different game modes. The main aim of the game is the same as regular basketball, the player with the most points at the end of the game wins. The game is available to play on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Android, and iOS.

The Game Review
Starting off with the main menu, the game has a very interactive and friendly user interface. All the options and game modes are available to play on the main menu. The game offers both single-player and multiplayer modes. In single-player mode, players have the option to play MYCAREER where they have to create a custom player, set its features and go on a journey by competing in different seasons and leagues until they become the best of the best. Throughout MYCAREER, players not only compete physically with their players, but also have to make decisions concerning them such as endorsement contracts, relationships with other players, fans, and business partners.
How successful the players can become in their journey depends on all these factors combined. Apart from that, single player mode also offers MYGM where players, instead of competing as international players, can take on the role of a General Manager of a particular team and controls everything that occurs behind the scenes. MYGM basically revolves around team management and controlling what happens off the field.
In the multiplayer mode, NBA 2K16 allows a variety of options to choose from. The MyLEAGUE Online allows users to fully take part in a team full of 30 players. The MyLEAGUE Online allows up to 30 human players to compete together. It also includes features like trades, signings, playoffs, enabling players to become a part of the full experience. Moving on, another feature in the online mode is MyTEAM which involves the players creating their own customized team. In MyTEAM, players can create customary logos, jerseys, court floors, and even arenas!
The players are able to completely diversify their team according to their own preferences, allowing them to become part of the NBA franchise. Apart from that, the game also offers 1v1 exhibition matches where players simply compete against one another in a friendly match. In order to support players in their gaming experience, the company also introduced a companion app called MyNBA2K16 through which, they can earn and keep a track of their in-game currency, experience, and rankings.
Overall, NBA 2K16 is a combination of skills and fantastic gameplay. The game was very well received by both fans and critics when it first came out. The variety of game modes it offers, both on and off the court, is what makes this game very addicting to play.
